Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Do you offer religious classes? No, we're not affiliated with any religious group. We are a multi-cultural school raising miniature world citizens.
Can you make sure my child naps/doesn't nap?
This is a delicate question and here's our politically correct response: We strive to meet the needs of each individual child and family. TLC permits a cuddly blanket, three books and one soft nap toy on each cot to set the mood. Teachers begin by playing relaxing music (Enya causes narcolepsy) for a period of time, then switch to books-on-tape to engage non-nappers. This dual approach allows children (if sleeping) to relax and recharge or (if resting) to enhance their listening skills and imagination. Our nap-mosphere is the best of both worlds.

What's the scoop with monthly family dinners?
TLC helps braid a close-knit community. Once a month (TBD) we invite our families to reunite at a local restaurant (again, TBD). Each family pays for its own meals. This gives TLC families an opportunity to socialize and meet "that classmate s/he talks about all the time" in a relaxed setting.
What after school programs are available?
We are currently cultivating classes for Tiny Tots Tennis, Music-N-Motion, Spanish, Playball, Tumble Bus, and Ballet/Creative Movement. We are also planning to incorporate VIP classes on the weekend when Very Important People in each child's life (be it parent, grandparent, nanny, et al.) attend a class session with the child to sculpt, play tennis, etc. Stay tuned and we'll keep you updated as enrollment progresses.
Are you planning to pursue NAEYC certification? TLC opts to be certified by Bright From The Start to help us meet our mission statement of creating a school where children love to attend and parents and teachers never want to leave.
